Regeneration

This is a dumb question... And yes I did do a search

How do I know if my truck has auto regeneration? If I don't have auto what do I need to do?

All super dutys regenerate automatically, you'll never know it's doing it unless you're watching your mpg meter and notice it drops

Some trucks, (XL and XLT), have "operator commanded regeneration" that gives you the option to regenerate while the vehicle is parked. I believe the OCR is controlled through the menu on the dash, I'm not positive because we haven't gotten our truck yet.

I also think OCR is available through FORscan, I'm sure others with more knowledge about it can tell you.
