Mine is the same as in the video. to be honest i just figured that's how they were. These trucks need to have some kind of flaw. LOL
Mine is going to dealer tomorrow for remote start add on and decal removal that they owe me from purchase deal. I will report back with what we find on Friday when I pick up.
You have a sunroof? Maybe the non-sunroof trucks have the floppy consoles?

This hasnt presented a problem, no vibration or noise but the upfitter console area (upfitters, sunglasses holder, interior lights area) in the headliner is loose/free-floating. Anyone else experience this? For example, if you switch on an upfitter, its like the whole area isnt bolted down and moves about freely.
Mine did exactly that and rattled. Ford replaced and and now it's snug. After getting the truck I I checked for tightness by pushing up in the center and popped a clip into place that they obviously missed during the install. The tech did they the wiring harness for the switches had been updated too. Not sure what changed
OK, so I was able to pick it up last night. When i asked what they found on headliner i was told that's how they are.
With that being said I check the truck and it is way better. only about a 1/4" of play at most when i push up on rear of hump in center.
I know that they did the remote start work first and there is a receiver antenna that gets installed up by the rear view mirror so they had to mess with the headliner to run wires but not sure to what extent. Which makes sense that when the body shop checked it it was fine.
So to the OP I believe it just wasn't clipped or however its held in place correctly.
Dealer should be able to correct it for you. hope that helps
