Hello- an introduction
Good day all!
I wanted to drop in and say hello.
I just located and and purchased a great 1999 F350 super cab lariat with 200k.
The truck is a 1 family owned truck with a banks turbo, exhaust brake, secondary bypass oil filter, transmission beefed up with a torque converter, CB radio, and more I need to check into.
The original owner special ordered it as a 5th wheel tow rig and modified it accordingly. He has a detailed logbook covering every service that has ever been completed.
Also, he ran Amsoil and completed oil analysises (I guess he was running the marine oil, 15/40 I think).
Thanks to this forum, I was able to research and buy the right truck.

Yeah- they are sweet. I literally have a folder of mods to read up on. The original owner did everything right. RIP! I believe it kept him very happy in retirement.
