Leaf Spring Part Number
I have the opportunity to pick up a set of leaf springs for my 04 F350, but the guy is not sure what the spring code was. The number stamped on the leaf spring is 3C34 ADA R 274 3. Any help in identifying them would be greatly appreciated.

I assume you are referring to front springs since you are talking about 'V' and 'X' code. 'V' came standard with the diesel and 'X' came with the plow package.
I'm not sure what you mean by "opportunity". If you are getting a good deal on an OEM set then by all means go for it. If not then I would recommend ATS (Leaf Springs and Suspension Parts by Auto and Truck Springs) and ask for Junior. Top notch quality and customer service. I have their 'X' code up front and am very happy with them and I just ordered a new set for the rear.
