Parking brake equalizer spring
Noticed that My 74 F250 Trailer Special needs a new parking brake equalizer spring but I'm having trouble finding an actual replacement. Part # D2TZ-2A651-C
If I cant find one will a spring, some small metal rod and some tweaking do the trick?

Original dealer cost $2.97, last list price $4.95.
If you want aftermarket, go to the parts store and get a universal clutch return spring. That would also work in place of the original parking brake return spring.
