well here is the short of it

I sold this sd to a friend and he quit making payments and I had to repo it

needles to say we are no longer friends he trashed it now the issues

the check engine light is on and if you hook it up to the reader it kills the engine and if you replace the lighter fuse it has power and if you hook it up to trailer it blows fuse and no power any one have any ideas

 

Unplug the fuel bowl heater and see if the reader still kills the engine. You'll get the WIF light, just ignore it for now.

ok did that and it has helped a bunch now it acts like it is loosing power shut it off and re start it runs good does it about twice a day every 40 miles or so

 

Check out your filter in the fuel bowl. If unplugging the heater helped, that means the heater is shorted out. You can run with a non-functional bowl heater, but it would be worth a look down in the bowl to see if the filter is trashed or if there are bits floating around.
