Ac oil when adding freon

I got a 2001 f150 leaking freon on the back of the compressor, can't afford to fix this summer. When I add freon should I get the freon with oil in to get oil in the system or just add regular can of freon, it took about 6 weeks before I need to add any.

normally the oil stays inside the system... do you see dampness ? I would had just R134 4-5 different times as needed before I added any more oil.

The shop that added freon said some oil was running out the back of the compressor, can you have to much oil in the system

If there was oil running out, then I assume it had NO R134 left ? At that point they normally FIX the problem, pull a vacuum and add new gas AND OIL.

Yes you can. The oil does not convert to a gas like the refrigerant will. So since it cannot covert to a gas it cannot be compressed. Too much oil reduces the cooling ability and way too much oil can lock the compressor.

No, just use straight R134a.

Be careful adding oil. It's almost better to run a little less than too much.
