Question Hang-on v. Integral A/C Compressor

1994 F150 XLT, 5.0L
Hey all, I was wondering what the differences between Hang-on vs. Integral A/C Compressors. If I could I would just go out and look at what type I have on my truck although I am unable to. I was curious if it is just a name brand or do they have different mounting placements? I recently had my compressor go out by seizing up and messing up the actual pully itself. Doh! Well, I need to get my truck running this weekend and I don't have the cash to obtain a brand new or rebuilt Compressor so I am searching at the local Salvage yard. Well, I recieved a call back from the salvage yard asking what type I had Hang-on or Integral. Like I mentioned my vehicle is miles and miles away and I am at work. I guess I should have looked prior to this. I could use some feed back before the day ends. I appreciate it.
Late,
Haze

Oh, by the way I don't plan on having A/C any longer I just need a pulley so my truck will run

Hang-on v. Integral A/C Compressor

I think they are referring to a "Hang On" as a dealer installed, or aftermarket unit.
An "Integral" would be factory installed.
