cooling and a/c
so i have a problem with my a/c it sucks at idle but is okay at higher speeds and it makes my truck run hot, do i need a recharge? even if i do why is it makeing me run hot, its worse at idle, the temp.

It could be something as simple as a worn fan clutch not pulling enough air through at idle speeds.
Your condensor may have fins that are bent and plugged that prevent air from flowing through it.
Check those two out first. If your compressor is cycling rapidly (every 10 seconds or less) at idle it may very well be low on freon.
