Was wondering if you guys had any experience with replacement a/c compressor brands. My son's Mazda 3 went bad and need to replace. I noticed on RockAuto that the Ford and Mazda have similar brands. The 2 listed are GPD and Four Seasons. I'm going to have my mechanic replace the compressor but the RockAuto compressor could save me >~$150. But I don't want to save the $150 just to have to spend it again a year down the road to have another compressor installed.

So please let me know if you have any thoughts on the GPD or Four Seasons compressors. Thanks.

I haven't used the GPD brand so I don't have any personal experience with them. I have use Four Seasons parts in the past, while not specifically a compressor, I've had no problems with the parts I've used.

 

I have used a few GPD a/c parts.. No problems so far
