Warning -- Photobucket pics disappearing!!
To make their crappy site even worse, Photobucket has been deleting all uploaded content with no warning, and "offering" new accounts for $100+ a year!! WHAT A DEAL! This means thousands of pictures in our threads here, that were linked to a PB upload, are disappearing. Just deleted my account, and will never return there. The absolute WORST site on the WWW!!

This sucks. I haven't used photobucket for several years, but my early pictures posted in threads are now gone.
I have them on my pc, but it would be a pain to upload them again. Figuring out what ones were would be next to impossible.
Since pictures are so helpful, people needing help may have to resurrect old threads and ask for the pictures again.

We'll that sucks. I thought I lost my pictures since I hadn't gone into my old account in a while. My 45 page thread on my F1 is basically worthless, along with the various other build threads I have for other projects. I just went to that link, and the want $400 a year to be able to post to 3rd party websites! It's a shame to lose all that work, but there's no way I'm paying that much just to post pictures on an internet forum. Like others have said, I think this might be the end of photobucket. How many people actually use that site for anything other than posting to forums?

So sorry for you guys and the rest of us that RELY on these pictures. As they say "A picture is worth a thousand words" Around here that is definitely true. I have shared this before but I use Goggle Photos (Free and unlimited cloud storage). They are instantly viewable on your phone and laptop automatically when you take a picture. Then all you have to do is download them to a hard drive. Back it up of course. The bad thing, you still have to up load them to FTE site when you post.
