2000Ford e350 will not start

Hello I have a 2000 Ford e350 I was under the dash and believe I shorted out a Yellow wire leading to the steering column. This wire was hot without the key and now when I try to start it I have no dash light and the starter will not engage. I have checked the fuses and they all check out can someone give me some direction I'm at a loss.

Start out with this Link.

There is a lot of F series info in that link, but they correspond to the E series.

All most sounds like you fried a "fuse-able link" some wheres in the system.
Best if you can get a down load on the wire schematic for your year/engine.

wildman is right.
fuseable link and it will be at the starter solenoid on the R inner fender.
