I have had a loud ticking noise on deceleration at any speed. The faster you are going of coarse the louder it is. Anyone ever experiance this problem. I had it into the Dealer and the Service Mgr drove it and seems to think it is coming from up top not down low but has no clue of what it could be. It kinda sounds like a rocker arm is loose. Any ideas?....
I have the same problem and I found this bulletin.
---A "rattling" noise in the converter housing area when the torque converter clutch is not engaged may occur on some vehicles. This may be caused by impact between the converter piston and cover spline teeth internal to the cover. ---
It has been rattling for about 6 months and just seems to be getting worse the last couple of weeks. Before it was just a noise, sounds like a small bolt in a jar rattling around. But now it seems to be a vibration and is worse on deceleration or with a load. I’m out of warranty and haven’t replaced it yet so I’m not 100% sure it’s my problem yet but have tried everything else and is for sure trans related. Hope this helps.
