What the ****! I was never sent a email by the salesman that said he would. I never got a phone call today. So I called the dealership again and the guy was out delivering a truck so I flat out told them " look I don't care who gives me the Dora to the truck I ordered I just need it emailed to me " and some. Other guy took my email down and said he would email it too me. So now I ask. If I don't get an email this time... should I just say screw it and go to another dealership?
Its is best to just go to the dealership and talk face to face. Ask to speak to the sales manager and iron out any misunderstanding or expectations before you leave.
Unfortunately a lot of dealerships don't respond all that well to email traffic. Mine was pretty bad about getting back to me 'timely'. It really wasn't until a few days short of delivery that he started communicating better... something to do about having 60+ thousand dollars burning a hole in my pocket.
I mean it's been 30 minutes and still no email. This is a small town dealer. I told them I am trying to support a local dealership but I feel like no one gives a damn.
I havent signed any any papers or did I put down any money to lock in the order so really... I could just walk away.
However i I hate to lose this good deal. I still have all the paper work and all the info they said they would give me on my trade and price I'd agree on etc. I could take this to another dealer and see if they would do the same deal...?
You ordered the truck on 2 Jun, that is very close to the time I ordered mine. I would think your build date would be around the week of 24 July. If you go to another dealer you would be starting all over and you may not be able to place the order because its getting so late in the production year.
