Vinyl floor or clean carpet?

https://www.ocautocarpets.com/ is the only place I've found so far that sells vinyl flooring for my '90, which would use the same set as your '94.
I'm in the same boat, though I have vinyl already in my truck, and it's pretty beat up, and falling apart in areas. Power washing it would likely only make it worse, lol.
I've been considering replacing it with carpet, but then I remember I live in the desert, off a dirt road, and the only concrete at my place is in the garage and the slab under the house..thus I get a ton of dirt/gravel/sand tracked into the vehicles every day.
I was looking at the stuff from stockinteriors.com, largely because it's like $220 shipped for the crew cab carpet, so if I tear it up in short order, I won't feel so ripped off, lol.
I see people talking about the aftermarket stuff being not as good as OEM, which I expect, but how so? Doesn't fit right? Loose in spots? Seems like it's molded for a different floor? Falls apart faster? Finding clean OEM carpet for a nearly 30 year old truck seems like it would be exercise in futility to me, and I'd just as soon buy new stuff if I can, even if it isn't as nice as OEM.

I have a replacement ACC carpet in my F150. It fits pretty well, although the very back under the rear seat wasn't perfect. It's really not noticeable though. It's very plush and has held up well for 2 or 3 years now. Vinyl is by all means more practical but I really prefer the look and feel of carpet, so I went that route. If you do buy a replacement carpet be sure to get the mass backing.

in my 91, my son used a small carpet cleaning machine, and it worked extremely well. Took a few hours, but, the difference was amazing.
