Installed the headlights and the ventvisors today. Everything looks pretty sharp. Headlights were a bear. Ended up pulling all 3 mounts from the original headlights and making them fit the new headlights. The ones that came with the new lights were way too loose and the headlight bounced. Hoping they will be somewhat adjusted as well lol. I'll have to check that tonight. But for now here is a pic.
Something i hadn't noticed until this morning is just how much i had to adjust the headlights so the light had some side coverage. Not sure in a fan just yet.
I think the new headlights look good especially with those turn signal lenses, nice match.
When will the new tires and wheels be going on? I know after the lift...duh
Do you get any wind noise from that top mounted light bar? On my old Chevy I had both a ladder rack and an emergency light bar at different times and both annoying wind noises, the rack was a deep moaning drone and the light bar had a high pitched whistle at 65+ MPH.
Ill be on vacation the upcoming week. So the lift is probably 2 weeks out from being installed. As are the tires lol. As for the light bar i get a light hum at high speeds and some vibration. But not much. It really isn't that bad.
So it looks like I will finally have time to do the lift on August 26th. Fingers Crossed as i'm getting impatient lol. But I added this little thing yesterday lol

FINALLY!!! Today was the day. Its been a long time since I felt as accomplished of something as I did today. From what started as a bone stock truck in March of this year, to what it looks like now. Spending no money from my paychecks, just sides jobs and sales. Feels good. I already have phase 2 of this build in the works lol
For now I have this pic. I will take some better ones in a few days.
Now that I think about it, I havent installed a new h/u or my subs. So I guess phase 1 isnt complete lol. But as for phase 2.... which may cost me more money than phase 1 lol
