Over heating while ac is on?

Check front cab mounts
Had similar problem a while back.
Have 2nd mech temp gauge installed. Lifesaver.
Front rubber cab mounts were shot;
The brackets on the rad support were rusted totally out.
Lower frame brackets were ok, except holes were larger (rust?).
Common problem confirmed in salvage yards.
Front of cab dropped low enough to cause the fan to rub on the shroud.
Correct solution is new rad support. Big job.
R.I.M. (repaired it myself)
Measured drop, using bumper and even gap fan clearance in shroud as guides.
Bought new hd galv brackets, thick galv metal backing plates.
Used (gulp) large GM Suburban rubber, new bolts, washers.
Problem solved.
