No carpet was available for any 1961/64 truck, just a rubber floor mat. First truck with carpet: 1965 F100/250 2WD Ranger.

1964 F100/250 Custom Cabs came with bright metal scuff plates to retain the floor mat, these will also fit all 1961/63's and misc. 1965/66's (see applications).

These scuff plates frame the opening of 1961/66 trucks that have large and deep cab steps, visible when the doors are opened.

Thanks for the heads up. I was struggling with these on my '65 a few weeks ago. More than half the screws were stripped out, so I gave up and let that sleeping dog lie.
