So I am new to posting on this site, but have used much of its wisdom in the past on many projects. I currently drive an 06 F-350 Lariat crew cab 8ft bed and I wanted to install LEDs for my turn signals. I went with the LED compatible flasher (LUYED brand with high reviews) so they do not blink fast instead of wiring resistors everywhere. After replacing each bulb I double checked that they worked before I reinstalled the housings and I had luck on my first 3 bulbs, all flashed just like the factory bulbs with the factory flasher. However when I put in my fourth and final LED none of my turn signals worked with the LED compatible flasher. If I put in the stock flasher they would all work and they would blink very fast, but they do not work with the LED compatible flasher. I don't get the arrows on the dash or even a clicking sound, but with 3 LEDs in that flasher would work. I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem. This topic has probably been covered plenty of times but I could not find it in the search feature and was hoping someone could give me a quick answer. Is there something I'm missing? Is my flasher bad?
I ran into a similar problem, put LEDS in 1st, that didn't work. Then read where you need the LED flasher unit, still didn't work. No one could tell me why, so I just went back to incandescents for the flashers. But, I did upgrade all the other exterior, interior (dome, reading), headlights and underhood lights. That was still fun!!

Reason: adding headlights
