parking brake cables

I am working on the nine " rear end that will go in my 55 . My question is what cable goes where ? They are two different lengths and no I did not measure when I took them off I am thinking that the longest cable goes on the passenger side since it has to cross over. All help will be appreciated .

Bill the rear end came from a 1970 pick-up F-100. Cables are Bruin Brake Cables # A92492
and #A92493 . Bill as always I do appreciate you help and knowledge.

Art,
How are you going to activate your Ebrake? I just changed my 9" cables to the old Dana one piece style and now I can use the original hand brake and front cable.

BJ I will have to check into that. I am all for ease of some things as I have said on here before sometimes we ok me think that we are going down the correct path only to find it blocked. Bill I did buy the brake cables for the NOS parts in Olathe Ks they were aftermarket made in the states.
