2000 F350 7.3L starting issue
The truck runs great when warm but the first start of the day, doesn't matter when, it is really rough. The RPMs bounce and the engine romps but if I slowly give throttle to 1,100 RPMs or so the truck smooths out. During all of this there is a ton of blue/white smoke until it's warmed up a bit. There's no smoke while driving and start ups after this first start are normal and fine. What's the problem?
I have done a few things to the truck, melling LPOP, bigger banjo bolts on the fuel rail, 4" exhaust, 6 position chip that I've never turned past 75hp. This started on a long haul from AR to ND pulling about 3,500lbs. I was getting prepared to do injectors and glowplugs until this issue started. Just wondering if that'll help or make it worse.
