Hood Latch

Hey guys,

I have a 1990 f250 7.3 and the hood will not close. I can't see to find where it would latch to make it close. If anyone knows anything it would be much appreciated.

The latch mechanism may need lubrication.

Also check to make sure the cable isn't stuck. My 93 sometimes won't latch down completely unless I push the handle inside the cab forward, for some reason it doesn't return by itself.

Could be the latch that sits I front of the radiator it could have slid down and now is to far down for the hood latch to connect. Try loosening the bolts and slide it up a little. At least you can on a 1993 not sure about a 1990.
