The six are bolted in looking from top down
Now I was trying to see if the cross members are the same between us and yours but is hard to tell.
Looks like if the six mounts are removed the cut out is there for the oil filter.
Also looks like the mounts you posted would fit behind the cross member closer to the cab and from what I remember posted that is right for ours too.

Thanks Dave it looks like they should fit behind the cross member is you said. Yes - Ford Australia did just put sections in each side of the fire wall - unfortunately those sections rusted out very early in their life due to the cutting and welding which was done. We used (as far as I know) our Falcon steering wheel/column and a bigger brake booster and also a Falcon master cylinder for the manual trucks.
Also we only got a few AMC cars over here the Javlin and Rambler and I think they were late 60s /early 70s cars but I was only young when they were driving around.
