Hello all,

First post here. I just bought a 1996 F-350 7.3 turbo diesel dually 4x4 standard cab flatbed. Loving the truck but it has a few issues I'm trying to work out.

I did some searching on here but none of the situations sound the same as mine.

First issue that bugs me the most is when I switch from the front tank to the rear tank. The gauge registers perfectly for the front tank however when I switch to the rear tank the gauge slowly climbs and pins past the full mark. Switching back to the front tank it goes back to normal. I have been told this could be a grounding issue but I'm not super farmiliar with this system any help would be greatly appreciated.

Next small issue I have is that the jamb switch for the drivers side door doesn't seem to work when I open the door the interior light doesn't come on and when I close the door and start the truck I get the door adjar buzzing chime. I know the passenger side works because when I open the passenger side door the interior light comes on. I swapped the switch for a new one and it made no difference. I also checked the switch with a multimeter and I'm getting power through two of the outlet ports out of the three I'm assuming one is power for the light and the other is the signal power for the chime since the circuit is not closed indicating the door is open. Any help thank you.

It has the step by step instructions and pictures to walk you through these issues.
