I just got off from work and when I went to pull out of the parking lot the Service engine soon light would briefly come on and when it would come on I had zero throttle. It seems that when the light would come on if I pushed the peddle past half way the light would go off and it would push you back in the seat taking off. The truck would idle fine.
I am wondering if it is my peddle assembly as I have been reading about that here. I checked for codes using Torque Pro but nothing was showing. The truck has had a touchy throttle for the past 2 months.
I wonder if moisture is causing it because we have not had any rain in 5 months and now it will not stop raining. I do not want to throw parts at it so I guess I will research more and take suggestions from you guys.
I did notice my HPOP reading would dip when the light came on, it would go down to around 440 but jump back to 480 to 500 when the light would go off and I did not have my foot on the throttle. I get about 2700 to 2800 psi at WOT with normal performance.
