No throttle response

No throttle response
There is times during the day about 2-4 times on average when trying to accel i get no throttle response. The check engine light will turn on, during that time i will depress the throttle and no throttle response. It will usually last 10-15 seconds. Then the check engine light will turn off, and it will drive perfectly normal.

About your problem. It sounds a lot like the accellorator pedal assembly is going out. There is no throttle cable on these truck, they use a potentiometer to guage how much the driver wants to accelorate. When they go out, it displays that sort of symptom. However, don't just take my word for it, if the SES light came on there will be some codes stored. Suggest going to Ford and getting it scanned, the codes will point you in the right direction for a proper repair.
