sanderson headers
Trying to install ff427 sanderson headers on my 1976 f250 4x4 having trouble . Ican't get them to fit past dipstick tube on drivers side and motor mount and starter on passenger side. If you have installed them please help! My truck is stock 360 4spd. Did you install from underneath or from up top any tips .

My truck is a 2wd 390. I had to remove the starter and set the header in and then snake the starter in then put both in place at once leave the header propped In and bolt the starter in. I put the header in from the top. On the driver side I unbolted the dipstick and moved it and slipped the header in from the bottom and then put the dipstick back into place. It was a royal pain in the a@$. I highly recommend rimflex header gaskets. Well worth the money and dead soft aluminum collectors gaskets. And good bolts and nor lock lock washers
