I recently purchased a Scantool 426101 to use with Forscan and Torque Pro. After several engine starts, the truck (F350 6.7L) started to sputter when put into gear. I would also get weird messages such as " the downhill assist module is missing", well duh, I do not have downhill assist. When I pull out the Scantool, the problem disappears. When I check for error codes, I get a "network error". Based on not hearing of such problems with the Scantool, I am assuming I got a bad one and will return it to Amazon for replacement unless someone has other ideas.
thx,
Mike
I have had that issue on both this truck and my f150 when running the obd adapter and torque pro, I am leaning towards it being a torque pro issue, as it has doen that with 2 different adapters. I can leave the scantool plugged in and run forscan lite and never see that problem.

"It's the auto negotiation feature. Just set up the vehicle profile to negotiate using iso-15765-4 Can(11 bit 500k) only and the issues should go away."
I changed my setup and have been running fine for the last several days.

the one thing I wanted on torque pro I cant get to work is the dpf% but now I have that on my truck display so its not needed. I also have my coolant and trans temp, the only thing torque would show now is egt.
I use Torque to watch the Boost numbers vs. idiot gauge. EGTs post turbo and also pre-DPF are interesting to keep an I on. The only think that I really want to keep an eye on is the oil temp. I wish the Forscan guys could get the real numbers to show on top of the idiot gunge like they have for the tranny and water temps.
