Under-hood upgrades ?

New to the site, have a F150 Lariat 5.0 on order, if all goes well, a late July delivery.
There doesn't seem to be the same amount of under-hood mods on the net, that there is for say, Mustangs / GT500's.
Looking for ideas & hoping the site members would share what they've done under their hoods....( pics would be a bonus )...............thanks...
......( mods can be performance or cosmetic )
.

I suggest reviewing the Show Off Your Truck thread. There are a few members here that are doing some amazing mods.

But generally speaking, I've been really underwhelmed with the aftermarket response to this generation of F-150s thus far.

It is strange how underwhelming the aftermarket responded. Especially considering that the F150 is the number 1 selling motor vehicle in North America.

Whipple makes a nice front feed 2.9 for the 5.0 motor, not a cheap mod, but the results seem to justify the $$$$$.
I've had good luck with Whipple, upgraded both of my Shelby's with them.
........................2.9 on the 11

.......................3.4 on the 14

$6000.00 plus to put a supercharger on an F150?

I have a 2016 F150 with the 5.0 and in my opinion, it`s just not worth it to put that much money into such an item for an F150.

It`s somewhat understandable for a car such as your Shelby.

If you want more performance and i`m not sure if one is available yet, how about a 100-150 shot of NOS with a progressive controller.

Same amount of HP & TQ plus.......

Much less money than the super charger, easier to install, maintain, lighter weight, less heat, does not waste engine horse power, easy to upgrade or remove, no cutting or grinding on the engine to install, etc, etc, etc.

Can`t wait to see your new truck posted on here.
