The AA in the title means Android Auto. Android let's you use whatever apps you want, can't stand Apple for their "our way is the best way, no matter what" stance on just about everything.
Definitely some arrogance there. Used waze beta test version on a short trip today. Selected Mr T as the voice. That was a hoot! (for about 5 minutes). I did find out that the waze voice does come over the truck speakers so that's something I guess.

Couple weeks ago we were in my wife's car. Horrible accident so I fired up Waze. Changed it to Mr. T.
Dropped my phone between the car seat. Heard "turn left fool" the whole ride home.
This is funny. You can really mess with people. Back in the day we could associate custom language maps with Windows error messages. We created a Limp Bizkit model that would basically scream-swear every time a user made a mistake. They would be happily working along and the computer at full volume would suddenly say, "WHAT THE F IS WRONG WITH YOU???" and many other gems. It was funny until one lady actually started crying.
Okay, I'm new to the whole smarter than me automobile. I have never had a car or truck for that matter that had a touch screen or anything other than a speedometer, tachometer, a couple of gauges and some idiot light.
I would like to know more about the APPS that can be added to the trucks touch panel display. where would I go to learn more about the capability of the system?
