2000 Ranger
I have a 2000 Ranger 2WD single cab , 2.5 4 cyl. 5 spd. Driving down the road the speedometer will go to 0 and I will notice a power loss but I'm still running and then it comes back to full power and the speedometer resumes . Seems to be a intermittent thing . Any ideas to get me started on the annoying problem ?

Have you scanned it for codes ??? Does it have a speed sensor ??? Autozone will scan it for free,,,and you can google to see if it has a speed sensor,,,maybe someone with more speed sensor info will chime in
