Power Steering Conversion

I want to convert my '72 Highboy manual steering to power steering. The article on this forum by Glenn Davis looks to be a great guide on how to do that. My question is ... is the power steering unit from 1978 Ford F150 2WD an acceptable option or do I need to find one from a 4WD truck?? Thanks

You probably want the 4x4 one but I've seen the 2wd box used and it works good. Mounted ahead of the axle and re-clock the pitman arm 90 degrees. A little more fab work is probably involved.
