Umm... we're not clairvoyant so help us out.. 2WD or 4WD??
67s have some one-off parts and I dunno if it comes into play. Try these (as applicable):
sorry I did not provide enough info my truck is a 69 f100 ranger long bed 2wd 300 cu six I ordered the gear box from car steering in ca I did not know till I spoke to the guy there that I could have got the whole kit from them pump pulley hoses etc for 550 bucks I could not find pulleys or power steering pitman arms anywhere but they had one nice guys to talk to as well
well I got my power steering gear box from the guys at car steering in c.a with the pitman arm fitted I will be picking up the secondhand pump pulleys brackets etc when I go to charlotte for the fall autofair from tom who runs flashback f100,s so with some luck I can get it fitted soon. a question I have is will the linkages that are on the truck at the moment bolt right up to my new gearbox or do I change anything any help from you all would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance
sorry lizardman 1 my truck is a 69 ranger long bed 2wd I got a Saginaw box I will be picking up my ps pump brackets 2 groove fan pulley etc on the 20th at the car show in charlotte. then I will start the conversion tom from flashback f100,s is going to supply me with a fully reconditioned automatic power steering column so I can change from manual 3 on the tree to automatic it should make it easier for this old man to steer so my buddy tells me
You could have been way ahead with buying a 73-79 dentside donor and have all the parts for your conversion including the steering column that is required.
Brutus, Jowilker is right on about getting another parts truck. I had a 73 truck I stripped down then sold, keeping all but the cab, bed and frame. Good luck with your conversion!
thanks guys for your replies yes I am aware I could have used a 73-79 donor truck problem is timing & money neither came up at the right time lol. at least the way I am doing it I will have all new parts next thing is to get a rebuilt column & after that get a fully reco auto trans and at my age I will never wear the old girl out . one of the things I don't like about my truck is that huge steering wheel as much as I want to keep my truck almost stock I may finish getting one of those wood bound wheels with the alloy spokes I am not really fat but the wheel almost hits my gut maybe coz I have got short legs lol btw lizardman cant wait to see how your new truck turns out best of luck brother
What box, Saginaw or Bendix?? 2 or 4wd. Need accurate info if you want answers.
Bendix P/S: 1966/68 F100/250 2WD; 1969 F100/250 2WD before serial number D96,001.

P/S not available on 4WD's until 1973 and then only as an option. 1973/75 F100 4WD, 1975 F150 4WD available with Garrison Power Assist P/S.
1973 F250 4WD's, 1974 F250 4WD's before serial number T80,001 available with Garrision Power Assist P/S, but most of the parts do not interchange with Garrison F100/150's.

With Power Assist P/S, the manual steering gearbox is used, as it has nothing to do with Power Assist!
