Inline 6 300 fuel pump
i have a 1987 inline 6 300 that was efi i have converted it to carbureted but still have the electric in tank fuel pumps i was wondering does anyone know if the place on these blocks in 1987 was machined out for a mechanical fuel pump or not? I would like to put a mechanical on it its possible

Maybe post in the older truck forum also, I'm sure a lot of guys have put newer engines in their old truck as well.

Just bought a 1998 300-6 compete engine from a water pumping facility and it doesn't have a hole for the mechanical pump that the old motor had. It was set up to run on propane and had a different intake manifold however, so keep that in mind.
