300 fuel pump

just wondering about putting a fuel pump on an efi 300.the fuel pump boss is still on the block.anyone ever try drilling it out and mounting a pump.is the eccentric still on the cam.

Why would you want to do that --The EFI system takes a fuel pressure of 55 LBS and where would you find a mechanical pump that puts out that pressure?????

What stractor said. Some have done this when using the EFI block for a carbed application.

no one is going to do it unless hes using a carb.so you say it can be done.i always thought it could.
