Cigar Lighter

Looking for the exact location of the lighter on a 56 F100. Mine has been welded shut. Looking for center of choke to center of lighter. Thanks!

I measured 6 and 3/8 inches from the center of the lighter to the center of where the choke used to be. My choke was replaced several years ago by a toggle switch for the back up lights.

Look at the back of the dash. I'll bet you can see the patch!

Later!

did you cut it yet? here some pics, although I' seen some that vary from these. let me know if you would like a measurement from the center of the Philips on the right that holds the gauge cluster, to the center of lighter hole.

6" even is what mine is, and 3-7/8" from bottom up to centerline of lighter hole.
