Does anyone have the diagram and part numbers for the OEM rear sliding window in a 86 F150? Mainly looking for the felts and rubbers. I know there is an aftermarket window available but trying to keep the factory window. Thanks.
I need them also but I have not seen them any where but also have not gone looking just for them.
I would think if you find them it may be as much as a new window assy. and why I will go new.
besides if you did not get the truck new and are sure dealer did not install after market one how you know it is a ford unit?

Factory units are the thickness of the track and use a different rubber gasket.
Aftermarket units have a thin flange and use the single pane glass gasket.

Yeah I've found a few pieces I think and I'll probably have it what a whole aftermarket assembly would cost but would just rather keep the OEM.
I know its factory because it was there off the lot and has the wide flange and carlite glass.
I have two rolls of adhesive backed 3M Velcro (side-by-side) and used the "soft" side to line the tracks of my rear slider as well as both cab door window runs/tracks. Rattles and wind noise are gone.
I found some parts numbers at Tasca Fords website. They have the illustration of the window and what I guess would be original part numbers. Then found most everything at Green Sales. Some of the parts are questionable in that the illustration doesn't clearly show each component and the part descriptions are not the most helpful. Will report back when I get what I ordered.

I lost the driver side of the sliding window piece that connects in the middle.. Was this ever even replaceable ? wondering if I just have to find a donor truck and snag this piece or if this can be found somewhere?
I don't have an OEM parts catalog, so unsure.. Any pointers would be helpful!
I've attached a pic of the passenger side piece, that i still have. The driver side slipped off going through some rough terrain and slipped out between the cab and pickup bed.

Your "About Me" profile: 1980 F150. If this is what you're working on, here's the correct pic.
I have the same style bar on my sliding window. I bought a new latch to replace the broken one but the screws holding the latch in broke off and won't come out. I was able to find new bars at a junkyard and am going to put that in instead. Maybe you could find them there? If not I could probably send you my old ones and you might be able to get them to work better than I could.
On a similar note, how do I reinstall the bars back on the window so they don't just fall off?
