I was reading the newspaper and seen an ad for window tinting. And that got me to thinking that I would like to do that to my truck. Now, I know you can do with a sort of film but it's illegal and dangerous. I was wondering if any of you know how to do it without the film? I was looking to have my rear window (solid one piece) quite dark and the sides with just a hue of color.
All aftermarket window tinting is the film, you can get in different tints, not all are really dark. They sell that stuff at wal-mart and i think it's pretty cheap. The one your thinking about is the one's from the factory. I'm pretty sure the one's from factory have the window tint between the two pieces of glass. In LMC there were windows for the 73-79's that were tinted like that, but i never saw one for the 87-96's. I was thinking about getting the windows tinted on my 95, but i had other plans for that $160.
