I have an issue with my 99 f350 lariat triton v10. I had the infamous heater pipe crack going into the upper intake. I replaced it and am ready to out the intake back on. I saw I had two wires hanging not connected anywhere. I searched for a while and realized they are for the cylinder head coolant temp sensor. My truck is lifted 4 inches in the front so I was in the bay and must have pulled them out of the plug by stepping on them. I can't find the harness anywhere or even what color goes where. They pulled right out of the plug going into the temp sensor. One wire is yellow and green and the other is Gray with a red stripe. Does anyone know where to get a diagram or the harness? Thank you very much for your help!!!
Ok so I bought a brand new pig tail from Ford... $57.00! Lol. Anyway the new one just came with two black wires. So I am assuming maybe it doesn't matter which wire to where. Still doing some more research on it but either way I'll let everyone know how I make out.
Ok so I have been driving it now for about 4,000 miles or so with no check engine light or anything. So all is good. I'm talking to myself... blah blah blah lol.
