Help please
Bought a motorcraft 2100 2 bbl to install on my 240 i6. Now i need to find the right adapter to mount it on my 1bbl intake. I know some of you have done this and im hoping you will tell me the appropriate part number and supplier.

I have seen those advertised on the Ford six site but the owner died a few years ago....have no idea where you can find one. All I can say is shop around on all the hot rod supply sites.
In my opinion the adapter will not help you that much. Really I think the best thing you can do is spring for a new intake.

I did this with the same engine/carb. I used the Trans Dapt 2044. It took a little grinding to make the choke lever clear, but it otherwise matches up.
F-One is right, it didn't make much of a difference in performance. Once I switched to an Offy intake and efi manifolds, it made a significant difference (with the same carb). But, if you're upgrading in steps it's a good in between measure. I'd be happy to sell you mine if you want to save a few bucks.
