I'm for a intake and two barrel carb to go on a straight six. Currently i am running a one barrel but i want to modify and try the two barrel. ANy suggestions?
hmm, i don't know of a company that makes a intake for a 2bbl carb for the six. I do know of a forum like this one just for the sixes, and the members there have made adapter plates for the 1bbl carb mount to either a 2 or 4bbl carb.
theres always the option of buying an offy or clifford 4bbl intake and going to the parts store and buying a 2bbl adapter for it and slapping a 2bbl on it, but these intakes aren't really cheap.
Of all places to look, JCWhitney has Offenhauser 4BBL intakes for the 300-6. Just use one of these, with an adaptor, and a Holley 350 cfm 2BBL, and you can have a setup like mine! I'd recomend switching the exhaust out, too. Try to find manifolds for an efi engine. They use two manifolds, and they actually make better torque than headers.
