3.5 EcoBoost pretty much a direct bolt in to any 65-79 Truck

Can you share with me what you're running for spindles and brakes on the i-beams of this truck? Looks like Baer calipers? Do they have a direct bolt on kit?
Such a beautiful build, all the way around. I said it before, but I'll say it again, I love Restomods, and their combination of antique styling with current technology.
Thanks in advance!

they have direct bolt on kit for any bolt pattern.
MiG one wanted bigger bearings one could switch to f250 spindles.
Baer owner Hal gave me full tour last Friday. Amazing place!!

Not a problem whatsoever!
After a huge learning curve I could drop one on a skate board, wheelbarrow or my small garden tractor. . . Each platform would be different mods needed but with a bit of work one could put one in anything.
I would think the '61 Econoline would be one of the easier swaps. One could add or take away any feature one wanted or pick and chose.
From Adaptive cruise to full 360 camera, from stability control, traction control, trailer sway control, back up camera with backing assist or just enough to get engine and transmission to work. PATS or TPMS is also a easy add.
Just buy a good donor that runs to start with. Easy do from there. All you need is very basic hand tools. And a "Bit" of determination. I have heard far too many "It can't be done".
I currently have 4 EcoSwaps in the works including a 1965 F-600 that will have full electronics as a new 2018-20 F150 would.

OK, I just got on here a few days ago after seeing this thread.... Here's what I'm planning in a few year (after I retire) and I could sure use a little bit our your knowledge/experience....
I would like to put a 2017+ F150 Gen 2 Ecoboost 3.5 and 10R80 tranny into a 1965 based Factory Five MK4 Shelby Cobra roadster kit car. I know there will be some frame and/or body mods and also mods to the air intake and pressure lines from the turbos to the intake, etc. etc. I think I've heard that this has been done by a least one person at this point, but haven't been able to find them...
At some point when you have some time I could use some guidance on the wiring and component options that I have to get the car running/functional.
Thanks.
Rich

it would take a lot of typing to give full details.
find a running donor truck with PCM, BCM, TCM, BJB, keys for starters with wiring. One can buy new but then programming becomes a issue.

I am so glad I found this thread because I was thinking about putting the 3.5 eco in my 94 bronco but I never heard of anyone doing it, so I decided I would build my 351w, but that’s gonna cost a lot more than I want to get the same power output as the ecoboost. I’ll keep you guys updated 👍

Boss, love what you're doing man. I have a 83 F150 4x4 Reg. Cab Short Box and a 86 Full-size Bronco. Both of which are very tired. I was looking to have something like this done, to improve performance and well frankly gas is over $5 a gal. and I am looking to get the most bang for my buck without buying a brand new vehicle. Have your ever thought about the 2.3 eco 4 cyl. Would it even bolt up right, etc etc.

i am in process of dropping a 2.0 EcoBoost into a ‘66 F100. Starting with a new 2.0 crate engine and will change to RWD and use the new Tremec TKX gearbox. Lots of projects in front of it tho.
have engine, wiring etc ready now.
