I am in the process of deciding which doors to use in the re-assembly of my 66. I have two doors with the glass and door handles however they are not as straight as the two doors I have without the glass (these two doors are stripped of everything and sandblasted).
The decision is whether to spend more time filling and sanding on the doors with the glass & door handles or just remove the glass and door handles to the sandblasted doors.
THE ABOVE IS JUST BACKGROUND. Here is the real question. How difficult is it to remove and reinstall the door glass and all the hardware. Also, need advice on removing locks and door hands. There is not a lot of room to work up inside the door and what should come off first ect.
I have tried to do a search of old threads but every time I do a search on this forum using keywords I get nothing. I guess I need a tutorial on how to search.
I am looking for advice along with some pictures on how to remove and install window glass and door handles.
Lots of words for a very short question.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Very easy, Remove the crank assembly 1st I believe, remove the screws that hold each track side in place and then the glass will come out the bottom. Be sure not to let the glass just fall in the door when removing the tracks and such. Take lots of pictures as you are taking things apart. Good luck!
The door glass is adhered to the window channel with glass tape, available from any auto glass shop.
Window regulator has a stud for the nylon window roller that clips onto it, then the roller fits into the window channel.
ND,
would you know know the easiest way to remove the door glass window lift channel. After more than 50 years mine could use a sandblasting and some rust bullet, problem is I can't get them off.
