C4 shifting troubles
Guys,
New to owning an old ford. I have a 1978 F150 with a 302 and a C4 tranny.
I was having trouble shifting into 3rd gear when the engine was cold but after it heated up the slip would go away. I change tran filter and added F fluid. Now wont go into reverse or 3 without revving engine/very high RPMs. What did I do to my truck? How do I repair? Im not a mechanic but very ok with tools.
