While trying to figure out how to close my awning (no owner's manual) I broke the hinge. The hinge is the one that joins the two bars when the awning is extended. The awning has a tag that says A&E by Dometic, I think.
I didn't take it apart so I'm not sure how it goes together. I'm going to search around for a Dometic hinge and see what comes up, but if anyone can point me to the specific part that would be great.

Reason: Wrong mfg name
You cannot get that from Camco. It is a Dometic A&E part. It is not hard to break, nor is it hard to replace. I used to carry spares on my truck. Search around and I am sure there is a diagram somewhere on the Internet that shows how to do it.
Here's a picture of myself (the "genius" on the left) and my friend doing a campground install of the new part. We cobbled together the necessary tools to do the job, but it still took us a good 1/2 hour. The ATV came in handy when we had to reach the awning to flip the release lever so the poles would go back together.
Those little old ladies on YouTube are evil. They made this job look super simple.
