I'm just curious what this hinge thing is called. (see picture)

On of my doors has one (that's what the picture is of), but the other one doesn't. It flops all around and it's annoying!

Haven't been able to find it with some creative googling. If you know the technical term for it, I sure would appreciate it if you let me know.

I believe they're called door checks. I think anyway.

"check arm" is the slider part in the door
"check arm bracket" is the part on the door jamb

 

Push the spring down and retract the arms , and you can fully open the doors.

 

I don't think he wants 2 floppy doors.
