Window tinting cost
15 passenger E-350
I'd like to get the whole thing blacked out, including windshield except I don't have a sensitivity to light nor a doc to give me an exemption.
So, I'll settle for all the other windows.
whats a fair and reasonable price?
I had one guy tell me $300 using 3M film, but he couldn't give me any references.
Any thoughts, advice, insight is appreciated

depends where you are at I guess. Around here you can get a car done for 89$ sometimes less. Dont know how much a van would be but search locally, try to use one of the apps that are for finding stuff like this I think it was called angies list or something.

To me $300 doesn't sound like a whole lot for such a large surface area. I think it would also depend on the darkness of tint (20%-5% IIRC) but beware, a lot of states have laws about darkness of tint and devices to test in cruisers.
For example, Illinois doesn't like driver or passenger front windows tinted AT ALL, that's why a lot of factory tint jobs don't include those windows. They can fine you and or make you remove it on the spot from what I've heard. Look up the laws in the states you plan to travel through to prevent wasting money. The laws can vary wildly, because Indiana doesn't care if front windows are tinted but only allow a certain darkness. From my previous research, rear windows can be tinted very dark like on limos, and I doubt just the rear windows would be of concern to the police because cargo vans have no windows anyway.
Some more food for thought, my mothers car had 5% (as dark as it gets) tint on all windows and it was a major PITA to see out the back at night, causing some issues like backing into my car because it was too dark to tell!
