Window Tint

I know there are a million threads on this already but I thought I would ask as I am getting it done tomorrow morning.

I've got a 2000 lariat xcab going in for tint tomorrow morning on the front two windows. Does anyone know what the factory tint is on the back, smaller side windows? I think I want to go 30% on my front windows, but I don't want them to look way darker than the back windows.

Also, I live in the great state of ND which has 50% as the max on the front.. I'm debating between 20% and 30%. Any ideas besides the obvious answer of, "well 30% will draw less attention.."?

i believe that their comparable to a 30% although others debate that it's slightly less.

Good question, I would like to know to. I want to get my pass/driver windows done to match the rest.

One thing...at least your state allows some. Here in MI its zero! But a lot of people have it done anyway. The state police are the only ones that really enforce it.

If you go to fordparts.com and search for your window you will be able to determine your "tint level.

As I understand it, the higher the % is, the lighter the tint is (the % refers to the amount of light it lets in). So if ND says 50% is the legal limit, 20 or 30% would technically be illegal.

I believe "limo" is 5%... which is what I have on my other truck. When I am backing up at night, I just pray there's nothing behind me because you can't see squat.
