And I have a grill shell question.

First, anybody know how this should look? I'm pretty sure it should be even on both sides.

And anybody know what this connection at the middle of the grill shell is supposed to look like?

I have two pretty major dents, i'm going to try taking the shell off and straightening.

I used Mothers Aluminum and Mag polish, but no black came off at all, so i guess the anodizing is still on there or the PO clear coated it. I'll have to work on it after i take it off.

From this picture, it looks like a short, straight tab.

Good to see you're back in business! The grille shell has a little 90* tab mount that you can see has been tore off right below the insert bracket in your picture

I guess I'll bend up an aluminum piece to replace that tab and bolt it on. My mig or stick probably aren't up to the aluminum.

And I agree with somebody who put on another grill post, the guy who designed the main mounting bolts from the inside should be tarred and feathered.

If you haven't done so already, you can send your seatbelts off to be re-webbed and serviced for about 100/pair.

Safety-restore is who I used. Came back in really good shape.

Got parts back

I got the bumbers and the grill shell back. Only had a little time, but fits excellent, I have to clean up some of the polished grill and work on the chrome bumper, but progress...

Grille shell looks good, thats the same one? Did a good job on the dings. I like the use of bumper bolts to fix the fog light holes, doesn’t look bad.
