Thanks, I just checked mine it is was unchecked. Drop my trailer off at the dealer for some warranty work so can't check if that will fix it but hopefully, that was the problem. Thanks for the help.
Hope it works. Just check when you hook up the trailer. Every once in a while I have to re-check it off.
That setting seems to randomly change itself.. it's come up a few times since folks started getting their trucks. Hopefully will be fixed in some future software update.
Can anyone confirm if it works with a longer (that Ford says will work) trailer will still work? Mine is almost 37', and wondering if it will work with it (dont have the truck yet)
Anyone know why BLIS is only supposed to work with conventional trailers and not gooseneck or 5th wheel? My truck will be pulling a gooseneck 98% of its life and I hope the BLIS will work if I lie and tell it it's a bumper pull. Does it have something to do with how goosenecks cut inside the truck path on turns so can hit things on the inside of turns that a bumper pull would avoid?
2017 F250 Super Duty BLISS off for Conventional trailer
I have continued to experience the issue in the thread where for my conventional trailer, BLISS is off per the indicator on the dash board plus the lights on the mirror are not working.
I have taken it to the dealer numerous times where they reset it, only to have it turn back on again. The dealers in my area (Toledo/Detroit) want me to bring my camper with me to debug the issue. Maybe I missed something in the thread, I did not see a clear fix.
